YourLocal.Delivery is completely free. You can take payments through Stripe, PayPal or cash on collection/delivery. YourLocal.Delivery does not get involved in payments.

Not at all. We’d suggest not adding too many products though, so that your store is easy for users to shop on. Once we’ve uploaded the initial products and created your site, we’ll give you a login where you can edit and add more products as you wish.

You can offer delivery and/or collection. You can set this during the store set up.

YourLocal.Delivery has been launched (quickly) in a direct response to the coronavirus crisis. The project has been given the green light to run until June 2020, though depending on the situation and the popularity of this service, this may be extended. As and when anything changes, we’ll keep you posted.

The order process will allow you to get the data necessary to contact your customers. This includes email, delivery address and phone number. We’d advise you to make contact with the customer once an order is placed, to check authenticity and that the details the customer has provided are correct.

As a Kent business we’ve started rolling this service out to Kent businesses, however we’d like to help any business up and down the UK. If you feel like this service can help your business please sign-up and spread the word.

Yes. In light of the recent government actions to prevent the risk to the public, they have passed laws to give businesses the ability to change the way they engage with customers. One of these actions is to allow an order and delivery service. However, we must stress, please follow government guidance on social distancing when delivering orders.

This option will differ from business to business. If you’re a food or drinks outlet, the demand will be to deliver hot food to your customers within a reasonable timeframe. There is a dedicated section you can explain how your fulfilment is handled.

Yes. The pricing of your products and the decision to whether you want to charge an extra amount for delivery is completely at your discretion.

No, it doesn’t. How orders are fulfilled is the business’s responsibility.

No. By signing up to this you’re giving YourLocal.Delivery the ability to email regarding any opportunities for your business, announcements of updates or other technicalities that you need to be informed about. This will be kept to a minimum. Your details will not be sold or shared with anyone else. You will be emailed by our sponsor if you opt to receive a personalised promotional video. Only the information required for them to carry out their service will be shared with them.
